2 days in Berlin

It is between happy and sad upon arriving in Berlin, as this is the last city to visit before going back home to Jakarta, Indonesia. Before I went here, I have not known much about this city. The most famous thing that I knew from this city is the Berlin Wall. So, I was astonished on the other cultural and historical sites of the city back to the royal kingdoms era.

The first place to visit was the Charlottenburg Palace. I was very happy that photograph is allowed in here, yeay! This palace is amusing. It has many many rooms with different decorations and themes. It is like visiting a different city, or different country each time you stepping in a room. For example, there was a room with all painting decorations in european style, and in the other room there was a room full with Chinese ceramics, there was also room decorated with pure gold for the furniture and the walls, and many more! We spent approximately 2 hours exploring this palace.

From there we went to Pariser Platz, a square in the centre of Berlin, Germany to visit Brandenburg Gate. There are many other tourist spot in this area, however since it was already after noon, our tour guide insist to moved forward to the next destination, Berlin Wall and Check Point Charlie. However, he promised us to go back there in the next morning before catching up for our flight back to Jakarta

We then moved forward to Berlin Wall. These walls are very attractive with its graffiti and paintings all over the walls! a very nice photo spot!

This is the Check Point Charlie

The nigh has fallen when we finished from the Berlin Wall, and we headed straight to our hotel.

Day Two in Berlin

As promised, our tour guide brought us back to Pariser Platz, where he gave us chance to explore the area

We also went back to Berlin Wall for taking more pictures there

And the last thing, is to visit the Holocaust Memorial, The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe
